Architect Miroslav Marko, a graduate of the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava and Carleton University in Canada, has long been dedicated to the field of sustainable architecture with a focus on low-energy and passive buildings. He is the author of the Green Atrium project in Trnava – the first certified passive apartment building in Slovakia.
As the founder of the platform and host of the Adaptuj.sk podcast, he leads conversations with experts from various disciplines about how to design buildings and cities capable of facing climate change. The podcasts are recorded at the Center for Adaptation and Resilience in Trnava, where he and his guests discuss topics such as smart electrical installations, green roofs, flood protection measures, and the role of biodiversity in cities.
