She works at the Institute of Urbanism and Spatial Planning at the Faculty of Architecture and Design, Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. After completing her studies in architecture in Slovakia, she continued her education at the Politecnico di Milano and later studied planning for developing countries at Newcastle University, where she focused on sustainable settlement development.
Her research primarily addresses issues of social sustainability and local identities in urban planning. She has participated in several international research projects, such as DANube Urban Brand and Slovakaid, which dealt with strategic development of cities and regions. As a national expert of the Slovak Republic in the field of sustainable regional development, she also contributes to shaping policies and professional frameworks that support inclusive and long-term sustainable planning.
